They pushed me into this MRI-monster-machine (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), and I think I reached a state of enlightenment!
While lying on my back inside of this… thing, it made these horrible (but quite interesting) sounds. They also made me listen to an “Easy Listening” radio station (Lugna Favoriter) wearing a stereo-headset. The combination of the weird mechanic sounds of the machine and the music put me in this toxic state of… something-ness.
And now I know the answer! To the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything. I can only but confirm “Deep Thoughts” results from 7.5 million years of research, the answer is 42. Nothing more to it, you can all go back to work, play or Facebook-ing or whatever you were up to.
No there’s no catch, no obligations just 42.
Please bear in mind though that on the other hand, the “ultimate question” is still unknown.
Note: Arthur C. Clarke said that Douglas Adams‘ use of “Don’t panic” was perhaps the best advice that could be given to humanity.
